We Won!
Olea Lindfield came to life as a concept between hospitality veterans Lisa Dolores and Jesus Estevez. Wanting to bring their respective European backgrounds to a warm and welcoming space for locals, they started their search for the perfect venue in 2021.
A life-long North Shore local, Lisa came across the Ku-ring-gai Council tender to open a hospitality venue in the new Lindfield Village Green, and the rest is history.
Hours of planning went into the application, from branding and interior design to budgets and operations and cuisine concepts, menu drafts and tastings.
Key to the approach for the tender application was an understanding of the local area and its residents, which allowed the duo to formulate a concept, based on research and insights, on how best to serve the community in a fresh and exciting way.
The final lodgement of the tender came in late June 2021, followed by a nervous wait for feedback and a potential appointment.
And on 3 August, the call came, and the dream became a reality. Officially announced as the appointed provider, Olea Lindfield was born.
Big thanks go to the council team for choosing Team Olea to serve your community and those involved in helping formulate our tender application.
We’re looking forward to bringing the concept to life and launching it in 2022.
